Ali Curtis is a contemporary visual artist based out of Clearwater, Florida.  Ali’s background in both visual arts as well as fashion design and illustration has inspired her to develop mixed media paintings into a two-dimensional form to show the viewer the significance and similarity between both mediums.  Her passion for fashion, history and pop culture is evident in her abstract paintings. In this realm of her designs, she paints boldly with color and line to represent the scene.

   

A committed artist from childhood, Ali studied Visual arts in art school as well as fashion design in both Paris and London which then led her on to earn a degree from Parsons School of Design in New York.   With several years experience in the fashion industry working for brands such as Donna Karen Menswear, Rebecca Taylor and Steve Madden, she has continued to pursue her passion in Visual arts while currently working as an art educator.

Curtis has shown her cityscape, fashion illustration and abstract work in several exhibits and has multiple clients in London, Paris, New York and Florida.  She is also the recipient of several Awards and Recognitions including Best of Show from International Gallery of the Arts and Certificate of Excellence from the Circle Foundation of the Arts.
